We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Haven Dental in Downtown Jersey City and provide outstanding care to our patients. You will be working with a collaborative team that shares the vision of running the best multi-specialty dental office. Roles and Responsibilities and what we are looking for:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient chairside support.
• Greet patients and address any concerns they may have. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for use.
• Obtain dental X-rays under the supervision of the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental clinic.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team. Adaptable and willingness to teach and be taught.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
